Linux red hat to fedora to ubuntu and currently running lubuntu
# Run microsoft window on your laptop or pc with medium spec, i5 +
4G ddr2 maybe. At the same time, you like to have linux install on your
system. But don't want to go through some complicated step to install
it, you may download the vmplayer and install linux through vmplayer.
Its totally free, search at google for vmware workstation 12 player.
# By installing linux using vmplayer, this mean u will running linux
while u are running window. Both will share the same ram. Windows with
background antivirus run and vmplayer run linux that process data, 4g
are too low or small.
Linux red hat is awesome just not "free" . Please take note on double
quote. It is for enterprise, organization and institute which data
sharing or server is important. For medium spec laptop run linux through
vmplayer, it just too heavy. Most of the time, program lag.
Linux fedora is using red hat technologies and off course its free. The
interface is nice. That why i think it use ram more. For medium spec
laptop run linux through vmplayer, it just too heavy. Most of the time,
# Linux ubuntu, yes off course its free. All linux
must be free accept red hat which claim charge for its services. Yes,
its consume less ram. For medium spec laptop run linux through vmplayer,
it not too heavy. Sometime, program lag.
# Lubuntu. It is build
based on ubuntu technologies. You may search on google about linux on
old computer. Ya, lubuntu is build for computer with low spec. It use
very minimal ram. Running program will not lag. But off course, it is
preinstall only with basic program. Hehe.
Anyway, i will only use linux for scripting. Haha..
